Instrumentos de evaluación de la calidad de vida en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en hemodiálisis. Una revisión sistemática

Resumen

Introducción: La calidad de vida en el paciente con enfermedad renal crónica puede verse afectada negativamente, sobre todo cuando está sometido a terapia de reemplazo renal, como la hemodiálisis. Objetivo: Esta revisión tuvo como objetivo identificar los cuestionarios de evaluación de la calidad de vida más utilizados en enfermedad renal crónica en aquellos pacientes sometidos a hemodiálisis. Material y métodos: Se realizó una revisión de la literatura en la base de datos MedLine de acuerdo al método PRISMA. Resultados: Se encontraron 38 estudios que utilizaron cuestionarios, tanto genéricos como específicos, para evaluar la enfermedad renal crónica. Los instrumentos más utilizados fueron el SF-36 (n=12, 27,91%) como cuestionario genérico y el KDQOL-SF (n=11, 25,58%) como cuestionario específico. Conclusiones: El formulario de estimación de la calidad de vida más utilizado en hemodiálisis es el Short Form en su versión SF-36, incluso sobre el cuestionario específico Kidney Disease Quality of Life en su versión KDQOL-SF.
